Mafraq Hospital is 500-bed tertiary hospital situated 35 kilometers from the city of Abu Dhabi. It was commissioned by Ministry of Health in 1983 and serves as a general hospital for the city of Abu Dhabi and as a referral center for certain clinic specialties for the whole of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
