Reports to Corporate Vice President of PFS. Provides appropriate executive skills and leadership to lead and motivate all associates within Patient Access and PFS to optimize the collection of revenue, improve revenue management processes and implement new approaches to increase efficiency, productivity and revenue while improving the patient experience. Works closely with other revenue functional areas including reimbursement, payer negotiations and contracting, utilization management and coding. Manages vendor relationships for patient collections, bad debt management and other activities as needed. Identifies and implements leading practices, processes and technology necessary to achieve objectives.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree, masters preferred; 6-10 years progressive experience in a large hospital or multi-hospital setting; HFMA Certification highly desired. Must demonstrate and ability to plan, coordinate, implement and control the Patient Access, Financial Counseling, Billing and Collection services to function effectively in a management position in a complex centralized environment. Must be able to lead implementation and process improvement projects with minimal supervision. Multi-hospital system experience highly desired along with IT system conversion familiarity. Salary $135 to 165K; Relocation package.
