Requirements

Education –

• Basic Medical Degree recognised by the Dubai Healthcare City.
• Completion of a recognised higher professional education programme.
• Certification of higher professional education recognised by the Dubai Healthcare City: MRCP/MRCPCH plus CCST, FRCPCH, American Board Certification , FRACP, Facharzt or equivalent. Experience – Minimum of five years experience since gaining higher qualification.
• Minimum of three years Consultant experience in a Western hospital setting is desirable.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuing medical education.
• Appropriate experience and competence in all aspects of general paediatrics.
• Addidtional skills, training and expertise in a subspecialty area of paediatrics is acceptable and complementary to the hospital.
• Personal – Leadership skills appropriate for a highly functioning clinical team.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, nurses, doctors and other hospital staff.
• Ability to project a positive public image of self, department and hospital.
• Desirable requirements – Publication in peer reviewed journals.

Job Description

• Provides anaesthetic services to patients and works under instructions from the Consultants.
• Duties are on site, as per operational requirement.
• Demonstrate commitment to continuing medical education.
• Participate in activities relevant to the development of the Anaesthesia service and the hospital.
• Fulfil professional requirements for continuing maintenance of competence in all aspects of Anaesthesia.
• Carry out other assigned duties within the appropriate scope of knowledge, skills and abilities of the position.
• Participates in activities and opportunities to promote the department’s service and the hospital to the general public and wider medical community of Dubai and the UAE

Regional Medical Center has an excellent job opportunity for a Board Eligible or Board Certified Anesthesiologist in Kentucky!You will have an opportunity to become part of an acute care hospital that utilizes both Anesthesiologist and CRNA for anesthesia coverage.
The on call schedule is 1 to 4 and covers both Surgery and OB. The Surgery Department is composed of General Surgeons, OB/GYN, Gastroenterologists, Urologist, ENT and Ophthalmologist. Board Certified or Board Eligible.
Practice experience preferred but not required. The OR is equipped with state of the art equipment including, Glidescope to assist with difficult intubations.4 Anesthesia machines with CardioCap™ 5 monitors.
