Masters required; corporate (multi-facility) and/or profit exp desired; Stage 1 Meaningful Use Project exp; recent McKesson exp in hospital setting; active part of executive team and reports to CEO; responsible for following system-wide departments: Information Technology, Telecommunications and Biomedical Engineering; strategic direction of all information technology utilized, including computer equipment, networking, clinical systems, software services, management of clinical equipment and devices, telecommunications and decision support reporting systems; serves on HIPAA Steering Committee and has role of Information Security Officer; chair of Information Technology Steering Committee; knowledge of all health care information technology processes on variety of operating systems; Project management skills; proficient in calculation and use of health care related statistics; 10 years’ exp of highly technical healthcare information systems duties demonstrating increasing levels of technical and supervisory responsibilities; 10 years’ health care IT project management with substantial evidence of successful completed projects on time and within budget; 10 years’ exp managing a Microsoft and/or Unix/Linux-based local and wide area network and a variety of software applications; working knowledge of telecommunications and biomedical engineering; working knowledge of medical record management; salary $180-200k

• Tertiary educational qualification in computer science or equivalent; preferably with technical certifications i.e. Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and Security +.
• 6-8 years of experience in computer operations and maintenance of IT infrastructure and user support, of which at least 4 years in managerial or supervisory capacity.
• Should have a working knowledge of industry applications, business and technology trends, competitive scenarios, regulations, suppliers and vendors.
• Experience within a healthcare environment is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills, demonstrates proficiency in using the English language (verbal and written)
• Should have strong business judgment and a balanced mix of communication, negotiation and people skills.

• Manages the computing platforms, including server, data archive and storage, databases, middleware, network, and telecommunication systems, as well as applications and systems which directly support an organization’s end-user computing environment
• Responsible for the optimal operation of the IT infrastructure, including hardware, peripherals, operating systems and end-user applications.
• Maintaining the operations of an organization’s information technology assets
• Develop, implement and ensure compliance with operational policies and procedures
• Manage/ supervise a team of technical personnel to support and maintain all aspects of IT operations which includes servers, operating systems, LAN, WAN, WLAN, VLAN, ePBXand email services.
• Facilitates the escalation and issue resolution, while coordinating help desk systems administration during problem solving and incident management
• Provide user support
• Ensure and manage security of data, server room and user access
• Coordinate installation of new systems
• Manage the procurement of all IT-related purchases,
• Recommend infrastructure improvements
• Manage service agreements with vendors
• Manage software licensing
• Participates in technology research, procurement, deployment and configuration of new systems.
